The Central Indiana Grotto is a diverse group of people with a common interest in caves and caving.

 Meetings are held at 7:30 p.m. on the first Wednesday of every month at the World War Memorial building in downtown Indianapolis at Meridian and Michigan Streets. Our meetings usually consist of a business meeting, talk about caves, a brief break, and some form of cave related program. Our programs vary from guest speakers to slide programs on caves and caving.

 Cave trips are scheduled monthly normally the weekend following each meeting. These trips are open to visitors who have the appropriate equipment. Please ask any member for details.

 The program for the May 2nd Grotto meeting will be by Ty Spatta. In a land of rocks, snakes and thorns. Ty and the Arizona Strippers will demonstate their quest to find and map new caves in the Mohave Desert of Arizona.

 The April 5-6 weekend Grotto Trip will be to the Annual Hog Fest at Fig Newtons Place North of Marengo Cave.
