The Central Indiana Grotto is a diverse group of people with a common interest in caves and caving.

 Meetings are held at 7:30 p.m. on the first Wednesday of every month at the World War Memorial building in downtown Indianapolis at Meridian and Michigan Streets. Our meetings usually consist of a business meeting, talk about caves, a brief break, and some form of cave related program. Our programs vary from guest speakers to slide programs on caves and caving.

 Cave trips are scheduled monthly normally the weekend following each meeting. These trips are open to visitors who have the appropriate equipment. Please ask any member for details.

The program for the June 6th Grotto meeting will be by Elliot Stahl. It will cover a three week caving excursion to Oaxaca Mexico in December 2011 thru January 2012.
Several new caves and pits were explored including a very significant archaeological cave.

 The June 9-10 weekend Grotto Trip will be to Tumbling Rock Alabama. More information at the June meeting or by contacting the Grotto Trip Coordinator Dave Haun.
