The Central Indiana Grotto is a diverse group of people with a common interest in caves and caving.

Meetings are held at 7:30 p.m. on the first Wednesday of every month at the World War Memorial building in downtown Indianapolis at Meridian and Michigan Streets. Our meetings usually consist of a business meeting, talk about caves, a brief break, and some form of cave related program. Our programs vary from guest speakers to slide programs on caves and caving.

Cave trips are scheduled monthly normally the weekend following each meeting. These trips are open to visitors who have the appropriate equipment. Please ask any member for details.

The Program at the March 2010 meeting will be by Dave Everton. He will be showing a collection of caving pictures called "Funny Places Funny Faces".

The March Grotto Trip will be to Buckners Cave South of Bloomington, IN. It will be lead by Jess Deli who knows the cave very well so if it been years since you have been there here's your chance to revisit. It will be Sat March 6th and they will be meeting at the end of Eller Rd at the Richard Blenz Nature Conservancy.
