The Central Indiana Grotto is a diverse group of people with a common interest in caves and caving.

 Meetings are held at 7:30 p.m. on the first Wednesday of every month at the World War Memorial building in downtown Indianapolis at Meridian and Michigan Streets. Our meetings usually consist of a business meeting, talk about caves, a brief break, and some form of cave related program. Our programs vary from guest speakers to slide programs on caves and caving.

 Cave trips are scheduled monthly normally the weekend following each meeting. These trips are open to visitors who have the appropriate equipment. Please ask any member for details.

  The February Grotto Meeting has been moved to the [2nd Wednesday February 8th] because of the Week Long Super Bowl Celebration, parking anywhere downtown could be a real problem that week. The program for the February meeting will be by Tom Rea. Tom has been involved with annual trips to Michigan for years. The informal title will be "Yes there are Caves in Michigan".

  The Saturday February 11th Grotto Trip will be The Annual February CIG Ridge Walk it will be in Indiana this year. We will be walking on Harrison Crawford State Forest land west of Wyandotte Cave. Thats the 2nd Sat of Feb. We will meet at the Frishes Big Boy parking lot just North of the Corydon Exit on I-64 at 8:30ish and will depart for the ridge at 9:00 sharp.please arrive early if you want to eat breakfast, they have a buffett that is reasonably priced and decent food. We have been doing this ridgewalk for over 10 years now! I look forward to seeing you there! Ron Adams 317-490-7727
